Returns & Exchanges

Products may be returned for a refund, credit voucher or exchanged for goods of equal value if unopened, unused and returned in its original condition within 28 days of when you received it. We reserve the right to pass on a returns handling fee of up to 20% of the goods value if we incur such charges from our suppliers.

Each returned item must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice / order confirmation email, contact details, and a covering letter explaining the reasons for the return and the required course of action. Please CONTACT US and highlight the issue to our Returns Department as soon as possible, to ensure that your returned items are processed quickly and efficiently. Returns received after 30 days will be assessed, and may be charged up to 20% in restocking fees. Hartlepool Marine Supplies will not be responsible for return shipping charges unless the return is due to our error in your order, as in the following circumstances:

Products damaged in transit

If the contents of a delivery have been damaged in transit, the item(s) may be returned to us within 14 days of receipt for exchange. Please follow the instructions above to return your item.

Products incorrectly received

If an item is received that was not part of your original order, send the original item back to us (following the instructions above), and Hartlepool Marine Supplies will send you the correct item as soon as possible.

Products found to be faulty

You have the right to return a faulty item to Hartlepool Marine Supplies. Please keep all warranty information that accompanied the item(s) as this will be required should there be a fault. In the unlikely event that you have a faulty item, it may in fact be easier and quicker to contact the manufacturer directly with respect to the fault. We can provide you with manufacturer details if these are unclear from the packaging. If you choose to return the item to us, please follow the instructions above.

Hartlepool Marine Supplies will notify you via e-mail when we have processed your return. Please give up to 28 days for your return to be processed.
